I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and seasoned yoga instructor with over 20 years experience. I take a body-centered approach and specialize in couples and individuals under stress. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and also the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy. My focus is on helping clients in the healing process. I address issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, marital discord, relationship conflict, trauma, grief, abuse, child conduct issues and a many other emotional, behavioral, social and family issues. I would be honored to work with anyone who is experiencing difficulty in life and help them learn and develop different ways to cope and resolve their emotional pain. One of the unique therapeutic interventions I use is Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). AAT is designed to promote improvement in physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning.

I am a bilingual therapist who is passionate and experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults, including LGBTQIA+ teens and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, transitional issues, relationship/separation, and other mental health concerns. I am also trained in EMDR to treat clients who have experienced trauma. I help clients become desensitized and unstuck in unhealthy patterns, painful relationships, or overwhelming circumstances and create hope.

Since I've been working in the field of mental health since 1991, I've learned to address many issues that clients bring to my office including marital and relational, anxiety, depression, bipolar, boundaries, domestic violence, codependency, substance abuse, grief, and blended families.

She has an eclectic researched approach in her family practice using both short term and long-term therapy. Jean has been in practice for 25 years. About a decade ago I attended a conference at the Omega Institute and was reawakened to the immense suffering in the world and I realized there was no more time to waste. I needed to change careers in order to be of service. All of my life I wanted to be a healer and pursued a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health. My approach is mindful, practical, respectful and always hopeful. I believe each of us holds the key to our own healing within our highest sense of Self.
