As a clinician I seek to create a collaborative, safe, and accepting environment where clients can work toward change and wellness. In developing a trusting relationship with my clients I like to engage in a relaxed and conversational manner.
I work with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, parenting, and relationship issues. My areas of speciality and expertise are grief and loss, coping with caregiver stressors, and adjustment to chronic illness.
I also work with caregivers within a group setting mindful of the fact that caregivers must find a balance between their needs and the needs of the one for whom they are caring. Within a group setting I strive to provide a place where caregivers can get the care they need.
