First Session is Free! Hello everyone! A little about me. First I am honest, dedicated, friendly and empathetic. I enjoy helping others in any way that I can. I am here to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive counseling environment. I want you to feel comfortable sharing your concerns/issues with me. I want to be open and share that I myself have used therapy as a coping mechanism. I lost my grandmother a few years ago and she raised me from birth. It was a difficult time in my life and I had a lot of trauma/grief/depression and anxiety. So I can relate. This is a judgement free zone and I am here to help you love yourself!

I work with families, adolescents, and children ages 3 and up. I am in the process of becoming certified in Child-centered Play Therapy, Relationship Enhancement Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Practices. I am not limited to these models and will use what is most beneficial to my clients. My ideal client(s) will have some idea of what they hope to get out of therapy and be open to sharing their experiences with me so that I can understand their experiences and help them reach their treatment goals.

Lucy Bailey provides psychotherapy in the state of Kentucky as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her passion and fascination have always been for people and their story. She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, in the city of New York. Lucy has also served as an adjunct professor for the school of social work at the University of Kentucky, teaching masters level students social welfare policy and analysis, and the importance of advocacy in various social settings.

Family Village Counseling Center is a telehealth only mental health agency. We have multiple therapists with many years experience, offering services children, teens, families, adults and couples. Hello! I specialize in working with young adults, children and women, as well as those in the LGBTQ+ community. In-person when working with children, I utilize Play Therapy, Expressive therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe in letting your child express themselves so they can heal from anxiety, depression, or trauma. I will create a safe space for them to learn to share their inner most thoughts and feelings.
