Addressing the specific needs or goals of the client is the primary goal in my therapy sessions. Assessment might include focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, loss, and relationship health including marriage and parenting. Premarital assessment and therapy as well as marriage therapy and enrichment are important aspects of my therapy skill set. My life experiences of long term marriage, parenting, grandparenting and the desire to assist in healthy relationships direct my therapy.

As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist I approach therapy with compassion, awareness, and work to create a space for you to process through your identified needs and goals whether this is your first time to therapy or returning. In this field it is a privelege to walk alongside those living with ADHD, depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, boundary insecurities, and relational difficulties. As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT since 2005, I offer a dynamic and intensive relationship therapy/coaching experience. I have many years of experience diagnosing and treating a variety of sexually related issues, in addition to numerous other behavioral health issues, including mood disorders and substance abuse/addiction. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have 20 years of experience in the child development and 10 years in the welfare system working closely with families on problematic issues and trauma in order to improve overall quality of life. And have been in a private practice setting for 9 yrs. In addition to being a Therapist, I am a wife w/4 children and 2 step-childten, also an Officer in the Army National Guard.

Teletherapy Only. Evening and Weekend Availability. I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. I see clients from ages twelve to adult. I have a passion for helping couples navigate through relational issues. I have previous experience working in community mental health, crisis services, private practice as well as in the child welfare system. I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am trained as a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. I have completed PSI Perinatal Mental Health 2-Day Certificate Course and Perinatal Mental Health Advanced Psychotherapy Training.
