We have a number of counselors that specialize in different areas but our most prominent counseling areas are marriage and family, adolescents, anxiety, and addiction.

I have worked as a School Counselor and in private practice. I have worked with children and adults suffering from ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem Issues, and Substance Abuse concerns.

My approach to counseling is client-centered; I work with you to create the best-fit treatment to your needs. I work with adults, adolescents, and children on a variety of issues. Our goal together will be to help you feel more in tune with yourself and navigate life with a healthy perspective. I have been providing therapy services since 2017. Prior to private practice, I worked with families involved in the child welfare system who have experienced abuse, neglect, addiction, sexual trauma and community violence. I am proud of you for starting this journey for yourself, whether that is with me or another provider.

I provide psychological testing to clarify diagnoses (ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, autism, & learning disorders). I also provide bilingual (Spanish) evaluations, immigration/extreme hardship evaluations, & FAA airman evaluations.

Dr. Hernandez, a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) and Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP), specializes in providing mental health services. His focus encompasses Spanish-speaking individuals, veterans, and those struggling with low-income and adverse childhood experiences. As a Mexican immigrant and a veteran of OIF and OEF, he brings unique empathy and understanding to the challenges faced by his clients.

I have been practicing psychology very successfully in the Indianapolis/Carmel area for over 20 years. My story includes how I overcame my own struggles during a difficult divorce and the death of my father by using highly researched and validated techniques. As a result, I have mastered a clinically valid approach to overcoming life challenges. I believe my role is to serve as a facilitator to assist you in healing and realizing your true potential by developing the skill set to walk a uniquely determined path toward self-actualization.

His clinical experience is broad and includes service through outpatient private practices, hospital settings, community mental health centers, research institutes, and educational settings. Services provided by Dr. Brothers include diagnostic services, treatment planning, therapy services, and consulting/coordination of services as needed.
