During my years in the counseling field I've worked with depression, anxiety, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, self-harm, addictions, dissociative disorders, men's and women's issues, codepedency, communication, infidelity, grief and loss, boundaries, divorce, parenting, marital problems, eating disorders, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, and many other issues.

I have 30 years of professional experience in working with couples, families and individuals. I have specialized in working with couples where abuse (physical, emotional or sexual) has been a significant factor in the past of one or both of the individuals. As a licensed marriage and family therapist I utilize a systems approach in dealing with both couples and individuals. I am direct and enjoy working with a wide range of clients. I do a significant amount of work with men and “male issues”.

In my work, I assist my clients to develop greater insight into and effective strategies to manage the stressful and distressing situations in their life. I strive to create an emotionally supportive, non-judgmental environment and provide clinical insight to guide them through this process.
