We are a child and family psychology practice. My associates and I believe in a cooperative treatment experience where client and therapist share responsibility for the identification and mutual direction of problem solving strategies. Hi, I'm Kate! I enjoy working with many different clients with varying presenting concerns. I work with children aged 8 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have helped people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustments and life changes, self esteem issues, and more. I particularly connect well with adolescent, young adult, and adult women, as well as men struggling with self expression or deep-seeded anxiety or mood issues. Working with adolescent girls is definitely a passion, and I have enjoyed working with them individually, in family therapy, as well as running various groups and workshops.

I Have worked in the areas of substance abuse and mental health for the past 29 years. I work with clients between the ages of 16 and 60. I have a strong interests in addictions, impulse control and personality disorders. I have sucessfully guided both individuals and couples through very difficult times in their lives and have seen many of them reach their highest potential in life. Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in adults and adolescents with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, survivors of personality disordered abuse, and couples therapy. Katie graduated from DePaul University with her BA in psychology in 2008 and Loyola University of Chicago, School of Social work in 2012 with her MSW. Katie has experience with a wide variety of clients including: Military Veterans/families, inpatient and outpatient hospitalization, and clients with legal involvement. Katie assists her clients move toward healing and reaching personal goals to improve overall quality of life.
