I Have worked in the areas of substance abuse and mental health for the past 29 years. I work with clients between the ages of 16 and 60. I have a strong interests in addictions, impulse control and personality disorders. I have sucessfully guided both individuals and couples through very difficult times in their lives and have seen many of them reach their highest potential in life. I put Jesus Christ at the center of my life and find a strong spiritual life helps in the healing process. I look forward to helping you reach your highest potential.

Therapeutic interventions include integrative approaches along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Psycho-Education, as well as Eastern philosophical tenets, and EMDR. If you deal with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Addiction issues, a Trauma history, Dissociative Disorders or Personality Disorders, you will receive competent, compassionate and empathic care. Treatment needs can be met through individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy and/or group therapy. Cesar is trained in numerous therapeutic orientations that are grounded in the latest research in the field of mental health which enables him to personalize his treatment approach to the specific needs and goals of the individual. His training is focused on trauma and he specializes in treating clients with combat and non-combat-related issues such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, complex grief, attachment and reactive disorders, among others. He served as a Clinical Combat Chaplain in the US Army and as a forensic mental health clinician at a county jail for several years prior to private practice.
