Working with individuals during life struggles is my passion! Over the years, I have been focused on helping people manage their lives better by helping them learn to accept themselves and build confidence. My approach is more client-centered as I like for clients to tell me what they need and what they think the next steps should be to accomplish their goals. I believe that therapy is a part of life, and there is nothing wrong with needing help. I work with children 5 and up and adults. Lynn is a licensed clinical social worker, with over 20 years of clinical practice. She holds specialized, advanced training in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, Subtle Energy Healing, Integrative Breath Therapy, and she is a Reiki Master. Lynn combines clinical and transpersonal psychology to provide the deepest healing possible. Her clinical style is both direct and gentle: she provides a safe and loving atmosphere to allow for optimal growth for her clients. Lynn currently has a full time private practice in Bourbonnais Illinois that includes individual and group counseling, meditation series, and related workshops.

My belief is that everyone has the right to be heard, and accepted. I have been a counselor/therapist for over 20 years. I counsel individuals 18 years and over, including men, women, and couples.

Being raised in a family with thirteen siblings, I learned early how to see things from multiple viewpoints. Also, I've learned that it was okay to have different viewpoints and not be wrong, because it was that person's opinion or belief. I became interested in couples and families, because I've learned that there's a difference between being in a relationship and "just" being together with a person or persons. Although it's a human need to want to be in a relationship, it's also a personal responsibility to learn how to be relationship material.

I am an LCSW and have been working in healthcare/mental health since 2009. I earned my MSW from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
