Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a M.S in Child Development & Family Studies, specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Purdue University. I specialize in working with couples, parents and co-parents, families, teens and Adults. My systemic approach goes beyond the individual and addresses problems within the context of people's relationships and environment. I believe relationships form a key part of health & well-being and strive to help people work through/resolve their emotional injuries to achieve happiness & harmony internally (within one's self) and externally (in relationships).

When I was a child I had terrible anxiety and a wonderful professional helped me. So now, my passion is helping other children, couples, and families. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist who believes in total mental health care for you, your partnership, and your children. I also have experience with the unique mental health needs of the LGBTQ community. I provide school consultation and advocacy as well. I have experience working with all ages: children, adolescents, young adults, families, and couples; and with those presenting with anxiety, depression, PTSD, CPTSD, developmental disorders, and chronic mental illness, among others. I am grounded in psychodynamic therapy, with an emphasis on attachment based interventions and Family Systems. Furthermore, I integrate different therapies (when needed), taking into consideration the complexity of multicultural perspectives that shape our lives, to meet the unique needs of each individual. We also address family and relationship issues, such as boundary setting, difficult life transitions, emotional abuse, and social trauma.
