I believe in starting where my client is at! I began my journey of becoming a therapist by attending The University of Florida and studying Psychology. I went on to receive my Master's in Social Work from Barry University. I’ve been licensed as a psychotherapist since 1997. In the beginning of my career, I specialized in children and adolescents dealing with ADD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and other related issues. Since starting in private practice in 2005, I have treated adolescents and adults specializing in eating disorders, marital issues, divorce/blended families, depression/anxiety and adolescent behavior disorders.
