Dr. Lipscomb has his doctorate in psychology with a clinical emphasis in marriage, family and child psychotherapy. Dr. Lipscomb is a licensed clinical social worker who provides psychotherapy, counseling and coaching services. He provides services to individuals, couples, children/youth and families. He specializes in areas such as: Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Relationship Issues, and Trauma. Ultimately, he provides an affirming, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive therapeutic environment for individuals to grow and thrive.

I am a second generation Chinese-American clinical psychologist. I completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University and have expertise in teaching tools to navigate intense emotions such as anxiety and anger, and improve self-confidence and relationship satisfaction. I also specialize in teaching communication skills for couples and families such as conflict resolution, setting and maintaining boundaries, and expressing and getting relationship needs met. I'm particularly passionate about working with individuals from multicultural backgrounds, such as being a first or second generation immigrant or mixed race.

With over 15 years working in the community and graduate lecturer at USC, Patricia's main goal, as an LCSW and Doctorate of Psychology Candidate is to help you work out your problems- We experience problems everyday but sometimes it can become so overwhelming that we may begin to develop unhealthy/uncomfortable physical and emotional symptoms in our minds and bodies. These ailments may affect our behaviors and the way we function at work, home, school, and/or church. They may even disrupt our relationships with friends, families, and/or co-workers.

I have been practicing psychotherapy and counseling for more than twenty years. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified Jungian Analyst.
