I have over 19 years of experience in the behavioral health field working with people from various backgrounds, with 13 of those years being a counselor. I particularly like to work with individuals, couples and families. I believe that, ultimately, the client is the agent of change and I am simply the guide on your journey to wholeness. Together we will identify your goals and, through our work together, I will help you reach them. I work with a myriad of issues, from marital relationship and family conflict, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, trauma and more!

I have over 25 years of professional experience. It takes an act of courage to come to counseling. I look to provide a place where clients can work through their concerns without being judged. I see individuals and work on with them on anxiety, shame, guilt, feeling powerless, impulse control, anger, depression, addiction, life transitions and career/ school difficulties. I work with couples to promote healthy communication, safety, vulnerability and intimacy. I work with children to develop behavioral and emotional coping skills to succeed at home and school. I work with families to resolve conflict.

My passion is helping couples and families improve their relationships. Utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy couples can mend broken relationships so love, connection, and safety can be restored. My goal is to create space to help you change unhealthy patterns, enhance communication, and build a close​, trusting, and healthy relationship. When working with individuals I use a holistic approach, choosing models that are best suited for their situation including Christian counseling when requested. Being accepting and authentic helps me create a supportive environment this especially important when working with families.

My modalities include Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (level 1) developed by Janina Fisher, EMDR, Sensorimotor (level 1 and 2 trained) and Post Induction Therapy (PIT).I have found these modalities useful in restoring relationships in the key areas of life: with self, others, and with a Higher Power. This is how I developed my practice name--Triune Freedom. By bolstering the 3 key relationships, I have been privileged to walk with clients as they journey to hope and healing increasing effectiveness in their lives both professionally and personally.

I enjoy working with people with a wide range of issues including: trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, etc. I obtained my Masters in Educational Psychology at Northern Arizona University and currently working as an LAC. My mission is to help people deal with emotional challenges and focus on their goals. Once we complete the intake, I schedule a therapy session with you. From there we start our therapeutic process. Depending on your goals, the therapeutic process can vary in length, but every case is individualized to your needs and I always meet you where you are.
