Susan W. Ratliff LPC Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Athens University in Behavioral Science, and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from A&M University. Susan has been in practice in North Alabama for the past 25 years, with experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has served a variety of populations, and has led individual, group, marital, and family therapy sessions. She currently works with children, adolescents and adults in therapy. Susan’s main passion in work is to improve individuals, and families lives by assisting in their development.

I am a Sexual Recovery Therapist (SRT) with specialization in sexual addictions and couples/marriages. I also work extensively with teens struggling with sexual compulsivity issues. My clients learn to replace destructive behaviors and avoidance of intimacies through healthy and meaningful interactions. As a pastor for three decades, I also have a passionate desire to assist pastors and their spouses. Pastors face some unique challenges in maintaining sexual purity and having healthy marriages. I offer them a safe, confidential, and proven place to find solutions.

Derrick is a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience providing services to adolescents and adults. He believes that everyone has potential to recover and heal from whatever they've been through as long as they're willing to put in the work and trust in God. He wholeheartedly believes that there is nothing you've been through that you cannot overcome. By using a myriad of psychological strategies and concepts Derrick has helped many people recover, heal, and thrive. In addition to providing therapy, he has taught psychological courses and facilitated couples and men's conferences.

I believe in the natural ability we all have to overcome adversity. My goal is to empower you in finding your own strengths and developing additional tools that allow you to experience fullfillment and success in your life that you are looking for. As a psychotherapist, I work with clients facing mental health, emotional, and quality of life challenges. I have a strong foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy, but also apply psycholanalytical for its strengths with your individualized needs. Depression, anxiety, serious mental illness, behavioral, coping, relational and personal growth are common areas, but not the only areas focused on.

Brad desires to create a safe space for clients and to offer compassion and curiosity in their journey toward wholeness. Brad has a particular interest in counseling adults and teenagers dealing with sexual/pornography issues, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, and trauma. He also works with couples seeking connection, intimacy and joy in their relationship.

The growing practice of incorporating psychedelic medicine into mental health is a primary specialty, and I currently offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, EMDR, and Brainspotting. We are an Alabama group practice with LMFTs, LPCs, and interns. We exclusively see clients using secure Telehealth therapy for your convenience, and do not have a physical location. Licensed therapists (Cindy, Sam, and Alicia) take BCBS of Alabama insurance. Interns see clients at a $25 rate per session. Cindy is a certified Sex Therapist, and Alicia is licensed to supervise MFT-I's, MFT-As and MFT-Is. Alicia is an EMDRIA approved EMDR trained therapist.
