I have specialized training and education working with clinical trauma & crisis, military culture & family, telemental health, and compassion fatigue & burnout. I have been working in this field for over 15 years and still find the most rewarding work to be when I watch clients grow and develop into the person they want to become. However, it all begins with a strong, honest, open therapeutic relationship to create change and live more authentically. My expertise, experience, and competence allow me to help clients struggling with a variety of issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, or OCD, and facilitate change.
I work with clients from a holistic, existential perspective rather than focusing on the symptoms with integration of forward-facing therapy (FFT). FFT allows clients to understand how the physiological response causes distress, not environment. I teach clients how to use simple self-regulation to interrupt the body's response & return to comfort.
