Let me begin by thanking you for taking the difficult step of addressing your or a loved one's substance abuse problem. I have 30 years of experience in substance abuse and the counseling there of. I have a public and private background in the field, having worked for non-profit rehabilitation facilities, private practice and judicial drug court systems. I am a State and Nationally Board Certified Addiction professional. I specialize in 1 on 1 counseling as well as professional psycho-social assessments/evaluations as needed by Probation Officers, the courts and attorneys. I bring a unique understanding of addiction as I have many years in recovery myself.
I am a solution based counselor, my goal is to help my clients think differently so their behavior changes in a positive manner. Very simply, if you continue as you always have you will get out of life what you have always gotten. I am also a veteran of the US Navy, having served as a FMF Corpsman attached to the US Marine Corps.
