Given our current societal state of affairs and tremendous declines in other assets, most everyone is feeling stressed-out, emotionally and physically drained, and pushed beyond their limits. I think it is fair to say that a vast majority have found themselves relying on their survival instincts to get through these tough economic times. Unfortunately, our survival instincts only benefit us in the short-term but do not help us in our pursuit to find resolution to life's problems.
As a result our relationships tend to break down, our self-esteem and confidence suffers, and we find ourselves feeling dejected, downhearted, and hopeless. Even in the darkest of situations, clients often reconnect with a sense of hope and determination to resolve the issues that have tarnished their outlook on life.
