In my 25 years of psychotherapy practice for individuals, couples, and families, I have helped people identify, explore and heal the issues that have kept them from accomplishing what they want with their lives. My experience has shown that moving beyond right/wrong thinking, judgments and emotional reactivity can greatly facilitate growth and freedom. Paying attention to the sensations and feeling in our bodies and relaxing through deep breathing can create insights to quickly reveal one's essential issues. Over the last ten years I have spent considerable time doing couples therapy.

My name is Michael Jones and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working with clients throughout the state of California. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in helping individuals with anxiety disorders, including OCD, Panic Disorder, and depression using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.

I offer support based services utilizing both faith based and secular perspectives to help guide clients to determine their best short and long term personalized goals and objectives. We will create a client plan to help you achieve your personal goals and objectives in the most advantageous time frame possible. I am non-judgmental and try to meet my clients where they are in life and work on better future outcomes and refinements.

At times we are thrown in to an experience of life that calls for a new way of responding. Thumped by unrelenting negative self-judgment, stuck in swamps of depression, seized by insecurities, paralyzing uncertainty, anxiety, panic, or held in the unforgiving clutches of recurring memories (trauma, grief, regret), the world can seem vast, uncaring, and harsh. And, in that world we may feel disconnected, alone, even fearful. Lauren Horvath is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides strength-based, trauma-informed therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Lauren provides person-centered therapy and believes each client is the expert in their own life. I have 15 years of practice in the mental health field and utilize a variety of approaches to assist clients in reaching their goals including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Informed Care (TIC), Positive Psychology, and Psychoeducation.

Initially a practitioner in nonprofits and community behavioral health programs and more recently private practice, i have come to find as a more recent trauma-informed therapist, symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and relational issues are often expressions of unresolved grief and trauma. I have training and experience in Ericksonian Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Relaxation Therapies, Brief Therapies (Problem and Solution Focused), Trauma Informed (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral) Therapy, CBT, Neo-Jungian Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I have worked in private practice, County Mental Health, and Non-Profit Mental Health settings. I prefer to work with adults,18 and older, to aid and assist in healing, personal growth, and self awareness.

I have worked with children, youth, and adults for many years in multiple environments. I work collaboratively with the person to help them meet their needs and goals. In my practice, I attempt to address suffering: what makes us suffer, how we suffer, and how suffering can be alleviated. I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with life issues and are not afraid to take on the suffering consciously, with my support, in order to transform their lives. I specialize in the treatment of addictions of all kinds, but primarily chemical, co-dependency, sex and romance, and gambling. I also specialize in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, both from current life situations and from childhood experiences.
