Intimate relationships can be difficult but when we learn how to truly be there for one another we enjoy greater emotional and physical well-being. Ongoing problems such as conflicts, disconnection and overwhelming feelings often lead to depression, betrayal, loss of sexual desire, poor physical health, and inability to resolve past traumas. When problems with our partner get to levels such as these intimacy and trust fade to arguments, loneliness and fear. My advanced training in PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Mindfulness guide my work. I work collaboratively encouraging couples to have a sense of curiosity and compassion for each other's here and now experience (physical and emotional) that goes beyond the spoken word. New skills are actively practiced through experiential exercises so they are "embodied" and can then be more easily called upon outside of sessions.
