When we struggle to make sense of our experiences (due to depression, anxiety, grief/loss, abuse/trauma, relational conflicts or new life stressors), we may seek any semblance of control over our situation, grasping for understanding of all the "whys" or seeking resolution/answers to pacify the "what if's."
