If you have found yourself in a dark place, brought there by your past trauma, circumstantial difficulties, lack of motivation, intrusive thoughts, low self-esteem, and/ or all of the above, I would love to offer you the help you need and deserve. Healing begins the moment we're heard. My primary goal is for my clients feel seen and heard, without fear of judgment. I want to provide a safe space for you to process, heal, and grow. I particularly enjoy working with clients who would like their christian values incorporated into their counseling!

I believe we meet no ordinary people in our lives and I am passionate about using evidence-based psychological methods to help my clients heal, grow, and ultimately flourish. I count it a privilege to be able to help people process many different types of painful experiences such as trauma and loss, depression, anxiety, and marital conflict. I provide therapy and psychological evaluations to help clients build upon their strengths, while also helping them identify and remove obstacles that have been keeping them from reaching their potential.

Sometimes the small things make the biggest difference and the largest challenges are not so big in perspective. I believe that participating in counseling can provide that perspective and be a most remarkable and rewarding journey. The counseling process is not always easy and can be quite difficult. Realizing this, I always feel so honored when my clients are willing to include me on their journey. I enjoy working with families and children as they determine who they want to become and are willing to do whatever necessary to make it happen.

I enjoy being able to assist those who are in need of finding a way out of the darkness. Also, my practice focuses on the study of substance abuse/addiction counseling. I have experience working with children and geriatric populations. I think that telehealth and online therapy are very powerful tools that we have to bring our support to more people regardless of whether they are near or far.

It takes strength and courage to reach out for help. I have faced many challenges in childhood, as a mom, and in a relationship. I believe that the healing work I have done with these challenges has helped me to better show up with compassion and humility. We are all in this together. I work from a somatic body based trauma informed lens. I use the following modalities: brainspotting, cognitive therapy, music therapy, creative arts therapy, psychodrama, EMDR, experiential therapy, coaching, psychodramatic body work, advanced integrative therapy, and I am a Brene Brene Brown Daring Way Facilitator.
