I will establish a safe and secure therapeutic environment, free of judgement and pre-conceived notions. We all approach life doing "The Best We Can". Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviors all influence how we are doing. I have been in practice for 20+ years and works with individuals and families. I have experience working with the children/ teens, juvenile court system/probation, youth who sexually harm, Marital/family conflict, and behavioral/parenting issues. I am also a member of the Nebraska Academy of Collaborative Professionals and am trained in mediation.

I provide online therapy individuals and families looking to overcome personal challenges, such as marital issues, grief, depression, anxiety, anger, sex therapy, relationship issues, a major life transition or spirituality issues. I've spent nearly 2 decades in ministry-helping kids, teens, adults, parents, groups, and families navigate their unique situations. I have over 8 years of military service, traveled the world and embrace all peoples, cultures, and beliefs. I use a holistic, nonjudgment, and multicultural approach to counseling. I am here to journey with you and to help you achieve your counseling goals if you let me.

My hope in the counseling process is to cultivate a place where individuals feel genuinely heard and experience safety and acceptance that helps them walk through difficult emotions and circumstances while discovering healthier ways of regulating emotions, connecting with others, and being in the “here and now.”

Life can be difficult sometimes. We can get off track, have trouble coping with day to day stress, lose sight of our own goals and dreams, or just feel lost and overwhelmed. In my practice, I enjoy work with individuals, families, and couples struggling with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma, women's issues, anger management, ADHD, relationship problems and communication problems. In therapy, the goal is to become engaged in a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship that can facilitate growth, change and healing.

I have experience in treating most severe mental illnesses. Depression and anxiety have become a focus of mine since they are so common.

I work with couples and families who want to understand and work on their current relationship problems and daily stressors that they are experiencing. I help couples work on relationship issues related to communication, trust, conflict resolution, boundaries, and managing emotions. I provide trauma-informed services to individuals who want to process their trauma and start their journey towards healing and self-empowerment. I work with individuals who have experienced intergenerational trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

My practice focuses on helping adolescents, adults, families, and couples who struggle with a multitude of issues. Whether you’re experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, behavioral or impulse control issues, life transitions, or communication breakdowns, I am here to help. I have 18 years of experience working with children and families in a behavioral health setting and I truly enjoy helping people make positive changes in their lives.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages and genders. Most of my early experience is with children, adolescents, and families. However, I have been working with adults on individual and couples issues for many years. I also have a lot of experience working with clients on addictions especially drugs and alcohol issues. I work will with clients that have anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. This includes ADHD and oppositional behaviors.
