As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 40 years, I have worked with clients spanning across every major stage of the lifecycle. I began my career as a family therapist treating mainly children and adolescents. Now, I work mostly with college students, adults and seniors, helping them to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Together, I will help you explore the difficulties you have experienced in your past, so that you can better understand how to use the insights gleaned from those experiences to lead a more fulfilling life in the present.
I employ a variety of therapeutic strategies including:cognitive behavioral therapy, the 12 step outline for codependency, grief counseling. I am experienced, warm, empathic, and flexible. I encourage mindfulness training and other healthy ways to cope with anxiety, depression, and stress.
My office equipped to provide the finest care in a tele health (video) services. I use an encrypted platform that is HIPAA compliant to ensure complete confidentiality. Through tele health, you can have two way communication via online virtual sessions, and you can be treated at a place and time that is convenient to you.
