My work is my passion. My 30 plus years as a therapist has given me expertise in many areas. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy working with couples who want to work on their relationship. In addition, I find working with individuals trying to negotiate through life challenges very rewarding. Whether it is depression, an eating disorder, anxiety or a life crisis, all are solvable with a seasoned, experienced therapist. I am a LGBTQ Affirming therapist who is accepting of all people. In my eating disorder work, I treat both women and men with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder. I teach mindful eating, as well as learning to identify feelings and understand those feelings that trigger out of control eating. It is a journey to change often years of disordered eating.
The majority of my clients come to me knowing where they want to be, but can't seem to get there. When it comes to changing behavior, getting yourself to do something different, depends on your thinking. Changing your thinking process is the magic of therapy.
