Depression, anxiety, anger, and grief are possibly the most diffiicult emotions that anyone can experience, but at some point, we all do. Confiding in someone that is understanding, nonjudgmental, and caring could prove pivotal in helping to process and overcome these emotions so that one can get back to the more enjoyable parts of life. My primary focus is for you to achieve a healthy balance. By utilizing a cognitive/behavioral approach, we will work together to challenge negative thoughts, unprocessed feelings and unwanted behaviors with a goal to gain the tools necessary to manage these emotions in a healthy way moving forward.

I am an LPC and obtained my MA from Liberty University. As a former educator and children's minister, I gained extensive experience counseling children, adolescents, individuals and families. I have found Play Therapy techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR to be especially helpful to my clients. Besides my calling to help others and spending time with my family, it is my relationship with God that gives me the greatest joy.
