I believe in the power of a warm, caring, non-judgmental environment to help foster the changes we wish to see manifested in our daily lives. I specialize in holistic healing with an emphasis on self-compassion and relational wellbeing. I integrate expressive arts and mindfulness techniques to help identify strengths in the individual, couple, and/or family system. I treat the underlying emotional and psychological needs that are often expressed through our communication patterns.
I currently teach in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Rider University. As a multicultural and systemically trained counselor educator and researcher, I stay abreast of recent developments in the field. I provide empirically informed counseling techniques while honoring and integrating indigenous ways of knowing and healing into sessions.
