I work with adults seeking to process and heal from traumatic experiences, with a focus on survivors of abuse and neglect. I aim to create a space for people to grieve, identify what you value, and take small steps towards stability and wholeness. I also work w/ couples seeking to enhance connection and communication. If you find yourself feeling disconnected from your partner, unheard or attacked during conflict, fearful of letting your partner down, or seeking to address triggers from past trauma with your partner, these are common issues I help couples address.
I offer EMDR for clients seeking to process & heal from trauma. I am certified in Dr. McBride's approach to healing from narcissistic parenting. I am trained in Levels 1 & 2 Gottman Couples Therapy. I collaborate w/ each client to identify your needs, move towards safety, enhance self-compassion, and see your unique strengths.
It is normal to feel any number of emotions when reaching out for therapy: nervous, hopeful, vulnerable, skeptical, motivated. You'll know when it's time to take a step, and I look forward to connecting with you. My hope is to support you one step at a time.
