Beginning therapy can be challenging; I strive to create a collaborative, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where I can support your efforts to change. I use clients' strengths, values, and preferences to personalize and inform treatment. I treat a variety of concerns including PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, and relationship concerns.
I received my Ph.D. from George Mason University. I completed my internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System with specific training in geropsychology (psychotherapy with older adults), PTSD, and neuropsychology and received postdoctoral training in geropsychology at the Salem VA Medical Center. I continue to value and enjoy working with veterans.
Evidence-based treatments I provide include: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy.
