My professional career began in 1978 joining Harvard Medical School Clinical Faculty. The unique expanse of my experience with adults and children over the next 42 years included treatment of inpatient, outpatient, K-12 kids in DCPS, as well as, Military and Families. Consequently, I undertook ongoing training in many various new methods of intervention.

In life there are many awesome and beautiful things to see and do, but there are also many challenges and pain in life. As I have worked with youth and families for over 15 years, I have come to understand that deep down everyone wants to thrive through being loved and to love others, but that often hurt and pain from our younger days place us in a position of just surviving. My hope is to help youth, families and couples to heal from these wounds to move toward thriving.

Emma Rogers is a licensed clinical social worker providing experiential and mindfulness based therapy in the heart of downtown Annapolis. Emma has a background in trauma, addictions, behavioral health and co-occurring issues, and specializes with family and adult counseling.
