He has lectured on adolescent treatment issues nationally in New York, Chicago, New Orleans and San Francisco., and internationally in Germany and Russia. He is the Executive Director of GroupWORKS for Education, a non-profit that brings group therapists into troubled schools to work with teachers and students. David is also on the faculty of the Center for Group Studies.

I am a family therapist with over 20 years of experience. I provide supervision and training as well as therapy, and am a senior faculty member at the Minuchin Center for the Family. I work with individuals and families experiencing the range of issues that bring people into therapy: depression, divorce, substance abuse, behavior problems, relationship issues, adolescent issues, etc. I work with children, adolescents, and adults; and see individuals, couples, and families. But, as a family therapist, I am always concerned with the many ways in which our families and our significant relationships impact on our lives.

In my 30 years of working with addictive and attachment related issues, I have come to understand how one's sense of aloneness and isolation can prevent a feeling of hopefulness and possibility. It is my belief that supportive, interactive and relational psychotherapy and/or psychoanalysis can offer profound change and relief in helping one manage their deepest conflicts and achieve greater fulfillment.
