Northeast Health Services is an outpatient mental health care provider dedicated to serving Massachusetts and the local Sudbury area. At our Sudbury clinic we provide a broad array of services including psychotherapy, group therapy, child & adolescent therapy, child & adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, medication management, and TMS therapy. TMS therapy, also known as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is an effective, non-invasive, low-risk treatment that has shown success in treating major depressive disorder and other forms of treatment resistant depression.

This can be a client who struggles with their anxiety, possibly has poor attachment styles, and struggles with holding meaningful relationships (romantic, platonic, familial). My ideal client is a young adult who is working on getting their life together. They are having a difficult time controlling their emotions and suffers with anxiety. Their goals are to get and keep a job, work on a career, and be more responsible. They are realizing that it is time to get it together. They are interested in learning coping skills and working on past traumatic events that they believe to be in the way of learning new ways. I will work with my clients to unfold what is brought into the room and set the pace that feels most supportive to them—together, creating a safe and supportive space as we address needs and goals.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, with thirty-two years of experience in helping individuals, couples and families to navigate life's many challenges.While I have maintained a general private practice, I do have expertise in treating eating disorders , substance abuse, ADHD and families struggling with these issues.I worked at Mclean Hospital for many years at the Adult Outpatient Clinic, the Appleton Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program, and the Partial Hospitalization Program.I have given numerous presentations on the treatment of eating disorders, substance abuse and ADHD, and I serve on the board of the Multi-Service Eating Disorder Association.

I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, anxiety and depression, services I provided for 9.5 years at the internationally recognized ADHD clinic, the Hallowell Center. I provide parent coaching for managing children, adolescents and young adults in the course of our busy lives. I work hard to find pragmatic solutions that meet the individual needs of my clients.
