I am a Resident in Counseling with my Masters in Counseling Psychology w/ specialization in Addictions, and my name is Marquis. I specialize in working with Depression and Anxiety. If you have ever felt these heavy emotions, just know that you aren't alone; and like many others, I am here to help. What I bring to the table is a mix of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Intersubjective Psychoanalysis effectively focusing on thoughts to actions and why we take those actions. Starting with my time in the military, I have worked in the health field since 2013 and have worked with everyone from Vets to Adolescents.
