Marnie has worked in many Family agencies and has been practicing as a social worker for over 30 years in different capacities. Specialties include: Populations of older adults and persons with disabilities, Helping Caregivers, Individual Therapy for young adults, adults and older adults, Facilitating support groups, and Connecting people to needed resources
Experienced in working with those dealing with grief, loss, anxiety and depression. Marnie uses MBSR to promote self-care and wellness. Marnie uses client centered, the strengths perspective, and solution- based therapy to help deal with the symptoms from grief loss, anxiety and depression.

This Bereavement Group will: help those suffering from grief, by promoting conversation about loss of loved one and how it effects current life, assist the group members to relate, connect, and build relationships within the group to support each other. Topics in the bereavement group will include: sharing positive memories of the loved one coping with loss during the holidays the seven stages of grief Please join us in a supportive atmosphere bringing yourself with an open mind and an open heart.
