As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH25063) with a passion for helping others heal, I guide individuals in overcoming the challenges of childhood trauma and creating a life of deep inner peace. My experience spans diverse settings serving high-risk populations. My approach will depend on how the client processes information- however, I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness.
I am comfortable treating clients with childhood trauma including abuse, neglect, and/or long exposure to unsupportive/unstable environments. I am also comfortable working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression that includes chronic suicidal ideation, and substance use-related addictions.
I am led by the clients always. A client can expect me to respect boundaries, while also being direct in what I am seeing from my end be active barriers to the outcomes desired. Collaboration is key.
