My name is Marlyn (Marleen) Tavira; I am a first-generation college student and a licensed clinical social worker with a certification in oncology as well as hospice and palliative care. I have ten years of experience in a medical setting working with patients and their families. Life can be difficult at times, and you don't always know how to deal with a new medical diagnosis, work/life stressors, or other life-changing events, which is why I am here to walk you this journey with you, whatever it may look like.
I work with clients who are having difficulty adjusting to a life-changing event, such as a new medical diagnosis, such as cancer, infertility, a new baby, or a challenging situation, and dealing with work/life stressors.
