I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech and completed my predoctoral internship at Western Psychiatric Hospital. After graduating, I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, where I used neuroimaging to study brain vulnerabilities that can persist in treated depression.
I specialize in CBT and IPT for depression and anxiety for adults, with additional focus on Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches. My strong research background in neuroscience also informs my clinical work.
