Welcome! My name is Marlen Jimenez. I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Los Angeles, CA. I believe in creating a safe, friendly, non-judgmental space that is both compassionate and culturally sensitive. I use an integrative approach to therapy drawing from various evidenced-based treatment models that include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, internal family systems, and more. I work towards building trust and safety in the therapy setting as this is the basis of any successful care.
Although I primarily work with adults, I have extensive experience working with ages across the lifespan. I have over 22 years of experience in the field of mental health and feel comfortable supporting clients as they navigate life's various stressors, transitions, anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, and relationship stress.
I am a first generation Latina with a passion for mental health. My aim is to break barriers and increase access to mental health care for all communities. I am a graduate of UCLA and received my professional degree from the University of Michigan.
