Hi there, I am Marlana. I am a Licensed Professional and Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am passionate about helping people through their challenges so that they may heal and experience growth in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals who experience depression, work and social stressors, life transitions, PTSD, and comorbid issues including alcohol and substance use dependency.
My approach is person-centered. I will meet you with unconditional positive regard, and remain nonjudgmental to foster a trusting environment. I frequently use CBT, MI, Personal Centered modalities.
My communication style is warm, personable, and accommodating. I like to create an environment where my clients can share anything while I remain nonjudgmental and present with them on their healing journey.
