I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals in various roles. I am passionate about improving the lives of individuals and communities by serving as an "interrupter" of systems and barriers to social health needs. My professional experience, combined with my mission to help others thrive, has shaped a unique skillset. As a mom of two, I also have ample experience navigating life through adversity. I specialize in leadership stress, trauma-informed care, major life transitions (such as military, college, and parenting), family conflict, daily stress, and mild depression.
I completed my Master of Social Work (LISW) at Cleveland State University, where I was part of the Phi Alpha Honor Society. I do not use a cookie-cutter treatment approach; instead, I take time to get to know my clients and understand what works best for them. My approaches include mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
I understand that the gaps between what we want our life to be and what it actually is can lead to anxiety, uncertainty, worry, stress, and depression. My goal is to teach others to focus their energy on what we have control over, while giving less emotional energy to what we have minimal control over. I want you to thrive!
