Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from Northeast Texas. After a rewarding career as a teacher and public school counselor, I made the decision to start working as an LPC and I have never regretted making the change. What I have learned from both careers is that building mutually trusting relationships is important for solving problems and creating change. Open communication within our relationship will allow us to move forward with treatment options that will truly work. If anxiety, depression, trauma, or other issues are keeping you from living your best life, it is time to take the steps towards healing and peace.
I use an eclectic counseling approach because there is no "one size fits all" method for the unique and diverse people that make up my clientele. I use techniques from CBT and DBT, as well as other counseling methods. I am also EMDR trained and currently working on certification. I am excited to be able to offer this life changing therapy in my practice.
