My name is Markia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults. I own Hearst Psychotherapy in Charlotte, NC. At Hearst Psych, we believe in the power of human connection and value the life experience of each client we serve. Our style is gentle and honest. Our role is to come alongside you by providing a safe, peaceful space for healing.
I specialize in treating PTSD in adults and have specialty in sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have a heart for serving urban communities. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and I honor the uniqueness of every client. I provide individual therapy by utilizing TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, wellness, and holistic approaches.
