My name is Mark Sayre, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I have worked with individuals, couples, and families seeking counseling for over 18 years, both online and in person. I have worked with individuals, groups, couples, and families seeking counseling for over 18 years, both online and in person. Currently, I am enjoying working one-on-one with individuals via telehealth. Most of my career was spent working with people with moderate to severe mental health issues in the areas of Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Trauma, and Stress related issues.
I also spent 3 years working primarily on substance use disorders, many of which also had co-occurring severe mental health issues including dissociative and thought disorders. I am also committed to teaching other things to help them improve their ability to function and reduce things like worry, sadness, and stress.
In therapy sessions, I try to create an environment in which the client feels comfortable and safe. As we talk, I will notice things and ask questions, and we may discover things together that they are not aware of, or maybe they are aware of but forget, and I will point these things out.
