About
As a psychotherapist, I have the privilege of getting to know and work with people from all walks of life. Some people are feeling a little more depressed than they used to, or more anxious, or angry. Others feel stuck, or hopeless, or really don't know how they feel. Some feel they don't have a voice; some hear voices that are upsetting to them. I also work with people who find they want to drink or use drugs less, or not at all, and others that are involved with the criminal justice system. Many people want to better their relationships in some way, and most want to finally feel some peace.
My clinical services are grounded in a respectful openness to people and their experiences, and the evidence-based assumption that psychotherapy can help people can recover, grow, learn, and overcome. As an evaluator, I use reliable and valid methods, and scientific reasoning, to form opinions that assist decision-making in clinical and legal contexts.
