Therapy is an opportunity to be seen and heard, to heal and grow, and to discover your full range of self. I provide a safe, supportive space for you to identify what you want in your life and in relationships, and what's getting in the way of it. Many of my clients face challenges with partners, careers, and/or families of origin. I work with a lot actors and artists, professionals seeking a change, individual adults, adolescents, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ communities. I also offer clinical supervision for therapists seeking mentoring, consultation, or clinical support.
I'm the author of the books The Performing Art of Therapy and Modern Brides & Modern Grooms and numerous popular and scholarly articles. For more information visit: www.markoconnelltherapist.com
I am Out of Network, Please Make Sure You Have a PPO Plan or Out of Network Benefits. I can help you to navigate the process to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. Contact me to discuss.

Many of my current clients are adults experiencing identity, relational, and/ or career conflicts (especially actors and other professionals in creative fields) as well as couples, and adolescents. I think of therapy as a luxurious rehearsal process, an invitation to connect to who we are, and to discover all that we can be.

People enter therapy for a variety of reasons including ordinary worry, sadness, or self curiosity. I always begin with you and your unique set of circumstances and goals. I create a safe and empathic environment in which to express feelings, identify obstacles (both in and out of one's control), clarify goals, and ultimately use the therapeutic process as a rehearsal for a liberated life.
