As a person of faith who is both queer and polyamorous, I know how hard it can be to find a place where you feel seen. I strive to make my practice an affirming space for people from all walks of life and belief systems.
I believe that strong, reliable therapeutic connection is the most helpful thing I can offer. I try to offer my authentic self, bad jokes and all. As a therapist, I frequently work with people who feel they need some help with their emotions, feel stuck in life, or who wish to have a better understanding of themselves. I am experienced helping people navigate their own sexuality, relationships, or spirituality.
My place is to journey alongside you as a companion, offering guidance and perspective to empower you towards healthy choices that align with your beliefs.
I draw from many influences, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems, but I focus largely on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, letting client's individual values guide their journey.
As your therapist, you'll hear nerdy references and dad jokes. I'll probably tell stories about my four cats, dog, and child, most of which I found eating from trash cans.
