I have been in the Clear Lake & Galveston area for 30 years. I received excellent training and supervision after my graduation from the University of Houston. My personal journey led me to sobriety in 1993. My sobriety led to spirituality which has grown in the last 20 years. I have "been there" myself which I believe has made me a better therapist. I started off working with adolescents and expanded my focus to couples and family therapy. Currently I still see 20% teens 30% adults 30% couples and about 20% consulting work.
The "change process" is a difficult undertaking. A former colleague of mine used to say, "Everybody's something". We all need adjustments from time to time or have sudden life altering events. An experienced therapist can prove valuable in seeing blind spots which are difficult to address on our own.
I have several individuals who meet with me on the phone and /or Zoom...I am willing to work in unconventional ways if your unique circumstances prevent meeting in my office.
