My name is Mark Kuntz and I am a licensed clinical Social Worker. My area of focus is adults and older adults focused on issues of grief and loss, role transition, interpersonal conflict, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I typically work with clients experiencing grief or loss, role transitions, interpersonal conflict, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Interpersonal (IPT), and Motivational Interviewing Therapeutic techniques.
My goal is to create an environment that is safe for clients to identify issues that are negatively impacting their daily life and work together with the client on a treatment plan that will help improve the client's means of coping with these stressors.
Over the years I have worked with clients experiencing homelessness, anxiety, and depression. All of these experiences have helped me develop a supportive and encouraging style of therapy that helps motivate clients to identify and seek out change opportunities to improve their life experiences.
