My name is Mark Izquierdo-Gallegos, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles County. I enjoy working with adults who need help with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and/or trauma, often using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients reach their goals. I believe understanding my clients' needs is crucial to determine what type of therapy is best to use. I do take an eclectic approach in order to best serve the needs of my clients, however, Cognitive Behavioral therapy is what I use most.
I enjoy working with adults. I have experience providing therapy to those with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychosis, addiction, and personality disorders. I enjoy helping my clients learn about themselves and helping them develop coping strategies to help them feel better.
I believe in creating a comfortable, calm, and judgment-free environment in our sessions where no subject is taboo. The most important thing is for you to feel welcomed, accepted, and heard in our meetings together.
