I have been treating both minor and lifelong problems in living and loving for more than 30 years. Doctoral and Postdoctoral training and experience with a wide range of people and problems helps me offer you a deeper insight and genuine understanding of your experience, and to make change! I can help you if you are at all invested in making things better in yourself and your life. My primary interest and challenge is as a psychotherapist. I work regularly with adolescents, individual adults and seniors, marital and family relationships.
So much of our happiness as well as our pain and sorrow has to do with our experience in relationships. My emphasis, though approached in different ways, is the relationship you have with yourself and its effect on your relationships with others and all else you may encounter in life.
My background of extensive training and experience has included a continuing effort to work on myself and better who I am. This together has led to an empathic understanding of my patients and leads to a real collaboration to help them better understand themselves and better manage their own lives.
