I have been helping men and women deal with their depression and anxiety for over 25 years, and am also experienced with crisis intervention and stress management, as well as those working on relationship issues. Those suffering from grief issues and symptoms of PTSD also find my therapy helpful,
For Couples therapy, I utilize the Gottman method, and for Family Therapy, the approaches of Strategic and Structural therapy are to me the most helpful in fomenting positive change. I also have experience with both Narcissistic and Borderline Personality issues as well as child and adolescent therapy.
My list of jobs before becoming a therapist (Restaurant work, musician, Social Worker) provides me with a fairly broad range of life experience and social interactions from which to gain better connections and understanding of the challenges my clients face. I find this very helpful for successful therapy.
